Rumors Persist Over McNabb

Rumors persist that the Bills will trade for Donovan McNabb. The Philadelphia quarterback is reportedly on Buffalo’s wish list, along with Denver and Cleveland. The 11 year veteran has one year remaining on his contract. Eagles coach Andy Reid insists that McNabb will start next season. The Bills may also be interested in backup Kevin Kolb, Philadelphia’s second-round pick in 2007. McNabb and Kolb are preferable to the available free agent quarterbacks, Chad Pennington and Daunte Culpepper, both past their prime. The Bills need a replacement for Trent Edwards, who has fallen out of favor.
