Sunday, May 30th, 2010Bills punter Brian Moorman sponsored a triathlon on Saturday. Participants swam 300 meters indoors, biked 22.5 kilometers, and finished with a 5 k run. Buffalo players Garrison Sanborn and Rian Lindell were among the competitors. The event is expected to raise $10,000 to fight pediatric cancer.
Gailey Emphasizes Strength And Conditioning
Saturday, May 29th, 2010Buffalo head coach Chan Gailey emphasizes strength and conditioning. The program is led by assistant coaches Eric Ciano and John Gamble. The effort is lauded by veteran Donte Whitner, who said that players work harder now than under Dick Jauron. The new regimen features intensive weight lifting. This is designed to reduce the number of injuries. Last year 20 Bills were on injured reserve.
Buffalo Signs Ed Wang
Friday, May 28th, 2010Buffalo has signed rookie offensive lineman Ed Wang to a four year contract. He is the first player of full Chinese heritage in the league. The 6 – 5, 301 pound Wang was drafted in the first round. He received All Atlantic Coast Conference second team honors at Virginia Tech. His parents are both former Olympians for China. He will compete for the starting job with Jamon Meredith and Demetrius Bell.
Carrington Honored By Sun Belt Conference
Thursday, May 27th, 2010Bills defensive end Alex Carrington has been honored by the Sun Belt Conference. The third round draft pick was named 2009 student athlete of the year. He had an honors record at Arkansas State. Carrington played for the Red Wolves in the Senior Bowl. He had 21.5 career sacks, fourth highest in conference history, and 146 tackles. He is expected to transition to Buffalo’s new 3 – 4 defense.
Bills Announce Training Camp Schedule
Wednesday, May 26th, 2010The Bills have announced their training camp schedule. It will be held at St. John Fisher College in suburban Rochester from July 28 through August 24. Coach Chan Gailey was impressed when he toured the facility. A highlight will be a youth football clinic hosted by Jim Kelly. Organized team activities are underway at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Aaron Schobel and Marshawn Lynch were the only players not in attendance.
Edwards Grateful That Buffalo Did Not Draft Name Quarterback

Lynch will have competition to win the starting spot from Fred Jackson and rookie C. J. Spiller. After a Pro Bowl appearance he has faltered the last few seasons. He has been plagued by off field controversy. The running back pledges to make a new start by participating in organized team activities. He wants to change the way he is seen around the league.
Bills In Cellar Of AFC East
Sunday, May 23rd, 2010The Bills are in the cellar of the AFC East. They have won only 2 of their last 12 division games. They finished last in both 2008 and 2009. The Dolphins, Patriots, and the Jets are among the best managed teams in the league. Powerhouse New England has won the divison 4 of the last 5 years. There is little in the Buffalo offseason to suggest a turn around. The Bills haven’t won back-to-back division home games since 2006. It is likely to be a long, frustrating season dominated by the division rivals.
Seattle Reportedly Interested In Owens
Saturday, May 22nd, 2010Seattle is reportedly interested in Terrell Owens. Both sides are said to have had preliminary discussions. The six time Pro Bowler has been looking for a team after a one year stint in Buffalo. He stumbled to an 829 receiving yard season with the Bills. He managed to avoid controversy. At age 36 Owens feels he has one or two years of football remaining. The Raiders and Falcons may also have some interest.
